Update: DSR (Defensive Success Rate)
We have made a small adjustment to the calculation of DSR (Defensive Success Rate). In the following press release, you’ll see that we have added a new variable to account for the missed shots by an opponent after a player plays safe. The missed shots is weighted as to not give it the full attention of the other variables as we have calculated missed shots to be of a lesser factor than the other two variables when calculating this metric.
You’ll find that the new link for DSR rankings includes a Data Points column so you know where we stand with our recordings. Please check back on the link often as more games are being recorded daily providing a more accurate measure of a player’s DSR. You may need to clear your cache for the link to show updated values.
